Technology designed for rapid wildfire response
When fighting a wildfire, time is critical. A system that can be transported quickly into difficult terrain and operated by a small crew can provide firefighters with an important advantage.
The UHP ULTRA is designed specifically around this principle. Manufactured in the UK, the compact skid-mounted system weighs approximately 80kg and can be transported on a 4×4 or trailer, allowing rapid deployment in remote and hard-to-reach locations.
With a 25m hose and a throw of up to 35m, the system produces a high-level, long-hanging drenching mist designed to rapidly cool and suppress fire. Its low water consumption and minimal crew requirement make it particularly suited to wildfire operations where access, manpower, and water supply can all be challenging.
The system is available in petrol and diesel variants, providing flexibility for different operational requirements.
Combining UHP Technology with TRIDENT
The UHP ULTRA can also be used in combination with TRIDENT, a next-generation water-encapsulating firefighting agent.
TRIDENT is 100% plant-based and 100% fast-biodegradable, according to its product specification, and is designed to provide rapid cooling and smothering while helping to reduce water requirements.
Used at the specified 0.2% concentration with the UHP system, TRIDENT enhances the suppression process while providing a no-burnback coating characteristic designed to inhibit re-ignition and help contain fire spread.
For wildfire operations, where vegetation can remain extremely hot after visible flames have been suppressed, this additional protection can be particularly valuable.
The combination of UHP and TRIDENT provides a compact firefighting capability focused on rapid cooling, suppression, water efficiency, and reducing the potential for re-ignition.
Kube – Keeping water moving
Water supply can become one of the greatest challenges during a wildfire, particularly when incidents occur far from established hydrants or mains infrastructure.
The Kube Portable Motopump provides a mobile solution capable of drawing and transferring water from challenging sources. Designed to handle muddy, debris-filled and contaminated water, the Kube can operate independently for up to five hours from one tank of fuel.
Its specified capability to pump under pressure over distances of up to 2.2 miles and work across a 6m gradient provides additional flexibility when establishing water supplies during remote firefighting operations.
Together, the Kube and UHP ULTRA can help create a more mobile wildfire response capability – bringing water to the fire and bringing effective suppression technology to the areas where it is needed.
The Turtle – Another layer of protection
Although primarily designed to address hazardous vehicle and electric vehicle (EV) fire incidents, The Turtle Fire System demonstrates the wider philosophy behind FASUK Fire Group’s approach: use technology to keep firefighters safer.
The unmanned system can be operated remotely through a single hoseline, allowing suppression to be delivered while crews maintain greater separation from the immediate hazard.
