The American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund has named a new cohort of recipients as part of its supplemental funding program, which aims to boost research skills. The first cohort of recipients was announced in fall of 2024. Recipients for this round were selected from successful PRF grant proposals submitted in 2025. Each recipient will receive $25,000 of supplemental funding. They include 13 researchers from various departments across multiple US states, including Alabama, California, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
