Claros Technologies has raised $55m in Series B funding to accelerate the global rollout of its PFAS destruction technology, expand laboratory services, and increase manufacturing capacity as demand for permanent solutions to “forever chemicals” continues to grow.
The investment will support wider commercial deployment of the company’s proprietary ClarosTechUV™ PFAS Destruction System across North America, Europe, and Asia, while strengthening its PFAS analytical services through ClarosLabs™.
The funding comes as governments and industries seek more effective ways to permanently eliminate PFAS rather than simply contain or dispose of them.
Backed by a mix of strategic and institutional investors, the financing positions Claros to scale its operations and meet rising demand from manufacturers, utilities, remediation firms and public sector organisations facing increasingly stringent environmental regulations.

This financing gives us the resources to accelerate commercial deployments globally, continue advancing our technology, and help customers address one of the world’s most significant environmental challenges.”
Investment strengthens global PFAS destruction strategy
The $55m Series B round includes previously announced convertible note financing and was led by Treehouse Family Capital LLC.
Additional investment came from Daikin America, Veralto, Bush Foundation, Nord Asset Management and Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, alongside existing shareholders.
According to Claros, the capital will be used to expand production capacity, support new commercial installations, advance product development, recruit engineering and commercial talent, and strengthen customer support.
The company also plans to continue expanding ClarosLabs™, which provides specialised PFAS testing and analytical services designed to help organisations identify, quantify and verify the destruction of these persistent chemicals.
Technology targets permanent PFAS destruction
Unlike conventional treatment methods that concentrate or transfer PFAS into another waste stream, Claros has focused on technologies designed to permanently destroy the chemicals.
The company says its ClarosTechUV™ system can treat PFAS found in industrial process water as well as contaminated groundwater, helping organisations address pollution while maintaining the use of PFAS in sectors where suitable alternatives remain limited. These include semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
By combining destruction technology with laboratory analysis, Claros aims to provide customers with an integrated solution covering treatment, verification and regulatory reporting.
Commercial milestones demonstrate scalability
Recent field demonstrations have strengthened confidence in the company’s PFAS destruction platform.
In late 2025, Claros partnered with Daikin America to complete one of the largest field demonstrations of industrial process water treatment for PFAS. The company reported destruction rates exceeding 99.99% across long-chain, short-chain and ultra-short-chain PFAS compounds.
A further demonstration in 2026 applied the technology to groundwater remediation concentrates generated from approximately one million gallons (3.8 million litres) of contaminated groundwater.
The trial again achieved at least 99.99% destruction of targeted PFAS compounds, providing additional evidence that the technology can operate effectively at industrial scale.
These projects mark the company’s shift from technology validation towards broader commercial deployment across industrial manufacturing and environmental remediation markets.
Regulatory changes drive demand
Growing regulatory pressure is expected to further increase demand for PFAS destruction technologies worldwide.
European policymakers continue advancing proposals to restrict PFAS under the REACH framework while considering exemptions for essential industrial uses.
Meanwhile, US federal and state authorities are introducing stricter drinking water standards, industrial discharge requirements and remediation programmes.
As compliance requirements become more demanding, organisations increasingly require both permanent PFAS destruction solutions and robust analytical services capable of accurately measuring and documenting PFAS concentrations.
Claros believes this combination of tightening regulation, expanding industrial demand and proven large-scale performance creates a significant opportunity for its integrated technology platform, positioning the company to support customers seeking permanent solutions to one of the world’s most persistent environmental contaminants.
