Frank N. Jones, 89, of West Palm Beach, Florida, died March 1, 2026.
“Frank was a dedicated and award-winning chemist, a 65-year American Chemical Society member, a leader in his field, a wide-ranging thinker, and a curious person. He was also a beloved and devoted family member, and a friend and mentor to many. His career was split between industrial research and university work. He held more than 30 US patents, and he coauthored the leading textbook on organic coatings.”—David Jones, son
